Jounghua Kelly Son awarded NASSM doctoral grant

Joung Hwa Son, a PhD candidate in sport management under the supervision of Lisa Kihl, PhD, and Landy Lu, PhD, has been honored with the NASSM Doctoral Research Grant. Her winning research proposal titled "Exploring individual-level knowledge management to sustain major sport event legacies" seeks to investigate the ways individuals handle knowledge, specifically in the context of maintaining legacies of major sport events and the factors that influence this process. The expected findings of this study aim to uncover various strategies for identifying, creating, storing, sharing, learning from, and improving knowledge that contributes to the long-term sustainability of event legacies.
