The Minnesota Muscle Training Program is an interdisciplinary training program in muscle research at UMN, for both predoctoral and postdoctoral scientists.
The MHSRS is the Department of Defense’s premier scientific meeting, providing a venue to present new scientific knowledge resulting from military-unique research and development.
Hoffman presented during the training oral session on “Traumatic muscle injury and the neuromuscular junction” and Crum presented a poster during the open session.
The talk was on his research working towards his master's thesis and how the combination of traumatic muscle injury and physical inactivity impact the adjacent bone.
Undergraduate student Braydon Crum, graduate students Angela Bruzina, MS, and Mason Lentz, and postdoctoral fellow Dan Hoffman, PhD, all presented posters.
