Lentz presents research on musculoskeletal system at Winona State University

Mason Lentz, MS student in the School of Kinesiology and member of the Skeletal Muscle Plasticity and Regneration Laboratory, led by associate professor Sarah Greising, PhD, was invited to present his current research on the musculoskeletal system to faculty and students at Winona State University, where Mason graduated with his bachelors degree in 2022. The talk was on his research working towards his master's thesis and how the combination of traumatic muscle injury and physical inactivity impact the adjacent bone. This presentation explored the functional and architectural properties of bone along with possible mechanisms behind observed changes.
