SoK alumna Brooks authors article in Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research

SoK alumna Samantha Brooks, MS, has co-authored an article on body composition in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research.

Samantha Brooks, MS, a 2025 alumna of the School of Kinesiology, is the author of an article published in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research. The article, entitled “Position-specific longitudinal assessment of total and regional body composition in NCAA division I football players," describes a study examining how total and regional body composition changes during a competitive collegiate football season in individual positions. Donald Dengel, PhD, professor of exercise physiology, Director of the Laboratory of Integrative Human Physiology (LIHP), and Brooks's advisor, is a co-author on the publication.
