NeuRAL Lab collects data on over 400 people at the Minnesota State Fair
Gathering data was through the Driven to Discover Program and in collaboration with the Applied Motion Lab in Computer Science.
The NeuroRehabilitation Across the Lifespan (NeuRAL) Lab, directed by Rachel Hawe, PhD, assistant professor in the School of Kinesiology, collected data on over 400 participants at the Minnesota State Fair. Gathering data was through the Driven to Discover Program and in collaboration with the Applied Motion Lab in Computer Science. This was the team's second year at the fair, where they used a novel video game they developed to assess unilateral and bilateral reaching movements. Beyond collecting data, the team was able to share their research with the public and talked to many School of Kinesiology alumni and prospective students.
