The University of Minnesota's Alumni Association's official magazine is featuring University basketball great and pro ball standout Willie Burton, now a sport and exercise psychology doctoral student advised by Beth Lewis, PhD. The piece, "From Dunking to Doctorate," highlights Burton as he works toward his doctorate in hopes of leveraging his unique position to help athletes navigate the mental health and emotional challenges that occur once their playing careers are over.
