Lu gives Esports seminar to School of Kinesiology community

Lu's seminar was titled "Organizational change and innovation around collegiate Esports."

Landy Lu, PhD, assistant professor in the School of Kinesiology and associate director of the Global Institute for Responsible Sport Organizations (GIRSO), gave a seminar to School of Kinesiology faculty, staff, and students on Wednesday, February 5. Lu's seminar was titled "Organizational change and innovation around collegiate Esports." In her presentation, Lu discussed the growing Esports industry and its affect on the development of collegiate Esport programs. Lu dove into the factors that influence colleges and universities to establish varsity Esports programs, as well as how to address multiple institutional demands on the development of these programs.
