LaVoi discusses the Female Athlete Summit on Kare 11 News

Nicole M. LaVoi, PhD, senior lecturer in the School of Kinesiology and director of the Tucker Center for Research on Girls & Women in Sport, recapped the Female Athlete Summit event with Kare 11 News. The event discussed research gaps and findings on girls and women in sports. LaVoi emphasized it's importance, "sport, as a social institution, was and is built by men, for men, and run by men."
