Kringle receives AOTF Early Career Research Excellence Award

Emily Kringle, PhD, OTR/L, has received the 2026 American Occupational Therapy Foundation Early Career Research Excellence Award.

Emily Kringle, PhD, OTR/L, Assistant Professor of Physical Activity and Health Promotion and Director of the Disability and WELLness (DWELL) Laboratory in the School of Kinesiology, was selected as the recipient of the 2026 American Occupational Therapy Foundation Early Career Research Excellence Award. This prestigious award "recognizes and supports investigators who are contributing and have promise to advance knowledge in the field of occupational therapy." Dr. Kringle will present as part of the AOTF Research Excellence Symposium and receive her award during the 2026 AOTA INSPIRE Annual Conference & Expo in Anaheim, CA in April.
