Kinesiology alum receives maintenance of OCS in physical therapy

Shannon Barie (Clobes) (BS '99, MS PT '02) received maintenance of the Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) credential in physical therapy. Barie intially earned the OCS credential in 2013 and passed again in 2025. According to the the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialities (ABPTS), the board-certified OCS credential marks advanced clinical knowledge, experience, and skills in the area of orthopedic physical therapy. The certification also signifies a commitment to excellent orthopedic practice and patient care. Barie currently practices at the Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute–New Ulm, where she will apply her expertise to enhance patient care and rehabilitation outcomes with this new credential.
