Greising speaks at UMN National Security Research and Innovation Day
The goal of NSRI Day is to identify the research gaps and challenges in six technical areas that were identified of high interest to the national security community, Greising spoke within the Medical Solutions for Service Members area.

Sarah M. Greising, PhD, associate professor in the School of Kinesiology and director of the Skeletal Muscle Plasticity and Regeneration Laboratory (SMPRL), was invited as a speaker and panelist at University of Minnesota National Security Research and Innovation (NSRI) Day on February 24, 2025. The goal of NSRI Day is to identify the research gaps and challenges in six technical areas that were identified of high interest to the national security community, Greising spoke within the Medical Solutions for Service Members area.
NSRI Day brought together thought leaders, policymakers, researchers, and industry experts to explore the latest developments and to learn about the fundamental advances taking place in each of these technical areas. The University is growing its national security-related research activities and plans to launch a new institute to coordinate efforts in this space.
