Promise Iheanacho

I am a PhD student here at the University of Minnesota. My specialization is in Sport Management, based on my background and experiences. I am currently employed as a teaching assistant, assisting in the delivery of Introduction to Sport Management, as well as a research assistant with my advisor on a sport project in the area of institutional and organizational change in sport and leveraging sport events for sustainable community benefits. I will be working on utilizing my knowledge of organizational theories for sport management research.

I am a highly motivated individual with a strong understanding of sports for development, and I take a genuine interest in the development of young people through sport. I have experience working as a teacher, sports coach, and volunteer. I am research-driven with an aptitude for accuracy and critical thinking, and I am open to academic and industry opportunities.
