DWELL lab member receives Undergraduate Research Opportunity funding
Vang received funding for her project titled "Consumer Perspectives on Wearable Activity Monitor Use after Stroke."
Kanree Vang, a 3rd-year kinesiology BS student and member of the Disability and WELLness (DWELL) Laboratory, directed by Emily Kringle, PhD, OTR/L, received funding from the University of Minnesota Office of Undergraduate Research Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) for her project titled "Consumer Perspectives on Wearable Activity Monitor Use after Stroke." This study aims to identify factors that may affect stroke survivors' adoption and use of commercially available wearable activity trackers using the Technology Acceptance Model.
