Dengel publishes in Surgery for Obesity & Related Diseases

Don Dengel, PhD, professor in the School of Kinesiology and director of the Laboratory of Integrative Human Physiology, is a co-author of an article published in the Surgery for Obesity & Related Diseases. The article titled “Changes in adipose tissue distribution and relation to cardiometabolic risk factors after Roux-en-Y gastric bypass in adolescents” examined the effect of gastric bypass surgery in adolescents on visceral adipose tissue and other measures of body composition before bypass surgery and 1-, 2- and 5-years following bypass surgery.
