Dengel publishes blog on soft tissue-to-bone ratio in NFL players

Don Dengel, PhD, professor of kinesiology in the School of Kinesiology and director of the Laboratory of Integrative Human Physiology, is the author of a recent blog post titled “The soft tissue-to-bone ratio in NFL players by position - Part II." In this blog, Dengel examines the soft tissue-to-bone ratio (SBR) in 346 National League Football (NFL) players. The NFL players are categorized into one of nine position categories: defensive backs, defensive lineman, linebackers, offensive lineman, quarterbacks, running backs, tight ends, wide receivers, and punters/place kickers.
