Dunja Antunovic, PhD, associate professor in the School of Kinesiology and director of the Media Analysis in International Sport (MARIS) group, published a co-authored chapter with Cheryl Cooky (Purdue), PhD, titled "Feminist Theories and Sport Communication: Understanding Media Representations of Women’s Sport" in the 2nd edition of the Routledge Handbook of Sport Communication. The chapter addresses the evolving theoretical and methodological approaches to studying women's sports and the media.
