Alumnus Chris Margallo appointed to medical staff for Team USA at the 2024 Summer Olympic Games

Chris Margallo, PT, DPT, SCS (BS ’01), has recently been appointed by USA Track & Field to be part of their medical staff for the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris, France.

Margallo has worked on USA Track & Field’s medical staff at major domestic and international meets including the Olympic Trials, USA and World Championships, Diamond Leagues, and the Pan American Games.
The 2024 Summer Olympics Games will be Margallo's first Olympic Games. He is honored to represent the University of Minnesota, his home state of South Dakota, and Team USA on the biggest sporting stage in the world.

Margallo graduated from the School of Kinesiology in 2001 as a kinesiology major on the pre-physical therapy track. Soon after graduating, he moved to NYC to attend the DPT program at Columbia University.
