Professor emeritus Tom Stoffregen authors publication

Tom Stoffregen, PhD, professor emeritus in the School of Kinesiology, and colleagues recently authored an online first article, "Is This Your Final Destination? Created Steppingstone Paths Differ Depending on Whether Paths Terminate or Continue," in Quarterly Journal of Experimental Psychology. In their study, by having participants arrange steppingstone paths with different endpoints, researchers found that people perceive and plan such paths as complete wholes rather than combinations of individual path segments.
