Kringle elected to ACRM Stroke Interdisciplinary Special Interest Group Executive Committee

Emily Kringle, PhD, OTR/L, has been elected Member-at-Large to the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine Stroke Interdisciplinary Special Interest Group Executive Committee.

Emily Kringle, PhD, OTR/L, assistant professor of physical activity and health promotion (PAHP) and director of the Disability and WELLness (DWELL) Laboratory in the School of Kinesiology, was elected to serve as Stroke Interdisciplinary Special Interest Group (Stroke ISIG) Member-At-Large on the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine (ACRM) Stroke ISIG Executive Committee. During her two-year term, Dr. Kringle will work to advance the Stroke ISIG's mission: "To be a leader in interdisciplinary stroke rehabilitation—both in clinical practice and research—by promoting high standards of rehabilitation practice, education, and research among professionals with common interests in stroke." Kringle will assume her role at the ACRM 2025 Annual Meeting in Chicago in late October.
