School of Kinesiology alumna Autumn Pease has been hired by the University of Minnesota softball program as its new Player Development Coordinator. A 2023 graduate from the school's bachelors program in Kinesiology, Pease returns to her alma mater after a successful professional career.
In her final season at Minnesota, Pease led the Big Ten in wins, strikeouts, and ERA. Her professional accomplishments include winning back-to-back championships and being named the 2024 WPF Pitcher of the Year.
In her new role, Pease will be looking to enhance player performance, overseeing a high-performance pitching program that focuses on biomechanics and injury prevention. This hiring demonstrates a strategic move to leverage a former student-athlete's on-field experience and academic background to improve the U's softball program.
