Hogue and PhD student receive grant from AASP
Their project is titled "An Experimental Pilot Investigation: The Effect of a Self-Learning Approach to Mental Skills Training on Youth Athletes' Psychological and Life Skills."

Candace Hogue, PhD, assistant professor in the School of Kinesiology and director of the Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology (SEPP) lab, and PhD student Yugo Yamaoka were awarded a research grant for the project "An Experimental Pilot Investigation: The Effect of a Self-Learning Approach to Mental Skills Training on Youth Athletes' Psychological and Life Skills." This research was funded by the Association for Applied Sport Psychology.
