McSweeney receives Advanced Olympic Research Grant
The project is titled "The KLABU Clubhouse Life Cycle strategy: Exploring social innovation and capacity building in sport-for-development and peace.”

Mitchell McSweeney, PhD, assistant professor in the School of Kinesiology and Global Institute for Responsible Sport Organizations (GIRSO), received the Advanced Olympic Research Grant from the International Olympic Committee Olympic Studies Centre. The project, titled "The KLABU Clubhouse Life Cycle strategy: Exploring social innovation and capacity building in sport-for-development and peace,” will take place over two years in collaboration with the organization KLABU. Meredith Whitley, PhD (Adelphi University), is the co-investigator of the project.
