Lu publishes translation article in Parks & Recreation

Dr. Landy Lu has published an article, "How to attract older adults to sports," in Parks & Recreation magazine.

Landy Lu, PhD, assistant professor of sport management in the School of Kinesiology and Director of the Global Institute for Responsible Sport Organizations (GIRSO), published a translational manuscript in Parks & Recreation magazine. Adapted from a peer-reviewed article published in the Journal of Leisure Research, the article, "How to attract older adults to sports: Tips from Senior Games organizers," highlights how Senior Games organizers could attract older adults to participate in sport and leisure-time physical activity. Co-authors of this article are Dr. Ran Zhou, lecturer at Nanjing University of Finance and Economics, and Dr. Guangzhou Chen, assistant professor at University of New Hampshire.
