LaVoi quoted in Elle

Nicole M. LaVoi, PhD, senior lecturer in the School of Kinesiology and director of the Tucker Center for Research on Girls & Women in Sport, was quoted in an article titled "The Troubling Rise of Harassment and Stalking in Women’s Sports" published in Elle. LaVoi discussed how athletes who remove themselves from being online to avoid harassment may face larger career implications, like potential revenue streams. LaVoi was quoted alongside colleague Cheryl Cooky (Purdue University).
