Kinesiology Research Day 2024

The School’s Kinesiology Student Council (KinSC) hosted its annual Kinesiology Research Day event on February 23, 2024. This event celebrates the research being done by the School’s graduate and undergraduate students through research poster sessions, oral presentations summarizing research, and a guest speaker.

“Kinesiology Research Day is an opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to interact and learn more about the interesting, phenomenal research students are conducting. Connections are made and ideas are shared. The exchange that takes place during this event really is an integral part of both graduate and undergraduate education.”
Daheia Barr-Anderson, PhD, Director of Graduate Studies

Her presentation, titled, “Creativity and collaborations: Continuing a productive research agenda at a teacher-scholar university” described how to balance productive research and other teaching obligations involved in higher education.
