Hesse publishes in Exercise Medicine
Dr. Anton Hesse and colleagues published findings on cardiorespiratory fitness for business professionals in the journal Exercise Medicine.
Anton Hesse, PhD, lecturer in exercise physiology in the School of Kinesiology, has published with colleagues in the journal Exercise Medicine. The article, entitled "Cardiorespiratory Fitness Changes Following an Unsupervised Exercise Prescription in an Executive Health Program," analyzed data from an unsupervised exercise program for business professionals and found that most participants maintained their fitness levels over two years, but those who started with low fitness were more likely to improve than those who began with higher fitness.
