Greising receives pilot award

The pilot award will evaluate both degeneration and recovery after peripheral nerve injury and novel regenerative medicine treatment options.

Sarah Greising, PhD, associate professor in the School of Kinesiology and director of the Skeletal Muscle Plasticity and Regeneration Laboratory (SMPRL), received a collaborative pilot grant to evaluate nerve regeneration. This short-term pilot award, in collaboration with Joseph Alderete, MD, from UT Health San Antonio, will evaluate both degeneration and recovery after peripheral nerve injury and novel regenerative medicine treatment options.
