Greising and Multi-PI team awarded T32

Dr. Sarah Greising and a multi-PI group was awarded an NIH T32 grant to train young scientists in musculoskeletal disorders

Sarah M. Greising, PhD, associate professor in the School of Kinesiology and director of the Skeletal Muscle Plasticity and Regeneration Laboratory (SMPRL), was awarded an NIH T32 grant as part of a highly multidisciplinary collaborative multi-PI (MPI) team along with Drs. Liz Bradley (Orthopaedics Department), Casey Johnson (Medical Imaging, Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences), and Kim Mansky (Department of Developmental and Surgical Sciences). This new training grant focuses on exposing young scientists to a broad range of musculoskeletal disorders and encourages them to pursue a lifelong involvement in understanding mechanisms of musculoskeletal conditions and developing theories for these maladies. This grant will span five years and support multiple pre-doctoral trainees.
