Dengel publishes article in Transplantation and Cellular Therapy

Don Dengel, PhD, professor in the School of Kinesiology and director of the Laboratory of Integrative Human Physiology, is a co-author of an article published in the journal Transplantation and Cellular Therapy. The article titled “Impact of hematopoietic cell transplantation on cardiovascular risk factors and insulin sensitivity” assessed the early development of cardiovascular disease risk factors and their relationship to insulin resistance in a large population of pediatric and young adult hematopoietic cell transplantation survivors of childhood hematologic malignancies.
