Craighead publishes personal editorial in Experimental Physiology
Dr. Daniel Craighead has penned an editorial detailing his personal challenges and physiological stressors encountered during his three attempts at the Boston Marathon, including iron deficiency, hypothermia, and a race-ending fracture.
Daniel Craighead, PhD, assistant professor and director of the Integrative Cardiovascular and Exercise Physiology Laboratory (ICEPL), has published an editorial in Experimental Physiology entitled, "Boston wrong: A series of physiological calamities at the Boston Marathon." This editorial is part of the journal's "Physiology of lived experience" series in which researchers write about the physiological implications of significant moments in their lives.
