Craighead publishes in the American Journal of Physiology

This analysis found that men with mild kidney dysfunction exhibit worse blood vessel health compared to men without kidney dysfunction.

Daniel Craighead, PhD, assistant professor in the School of Kinesiology and director of the Integrative Cardiovascular and Exercise Physiology Laboratory (ICEPL), has co-authored a manuscript titled "Sex-specific effects of mild kidney dysfunction on vascular function in midlife and older adults," in the American Journal of Physiology - Heart and Circulatory Physiology. This analysis found that men with mild kidney dysfunction exhibit worse blood vessel health compared to men without kidney dysfunction. However, the blood vessel health women with mild kidney dysfunction was no different from women without kidney dysfunction.
