Craighead published editorial focus article in the American Journal of Physiology

Dr. Daniel Craighead has published an editorial focus article on "Sleep restriction and cardiovascular disease risk" in the American Journal of Physiology-Heart and Circulatory Physiology.

Daniel Craighead, PhD, assistant professor of execise physiology in the School of Kinesiology and Director of the Integrative Cardiovascular and Exercise Physiology Laboratory (ICEPL), has published an editorial focus article in the American Journal of Physiology-Heart and Circulatory Physiology. The editorial focus, titled "Sleep restriction and cardiovascular disease risk: Insights into potential mechanisms and sex differences," comments on recent work evaluating the negative health effects of getting too little sleep, particularly how sleep restriction selectively alters autonomic function and increases cardiovascular disease risk in young women.
