Daniel Craighead, PhD, assistant professor in the School of Kinesiology and Director of the Integrative Cardiovascular and Exercise Physiology Laboratory (ICEPL), has been awarded a Labfront 2026 ACSM Grant. Dr. Craighead's research focuses on cardiovascular dysfunction and potential therapies to improve function, specifically examining novel forms of physical activity that overcome traditional barriers to exercise adherence. This equipment award provides critical tools and software to support his latest project investigating the impact of "exercise snacks"—short, sporadic bouts of physical activity—on ambulatory blood pressure.
