Bernard Sam awarded CATSS Summer Fellowship

Doctoral student Bernard Sam has been awarded a CATSS Summer Fellowship.

Bernard Sam, doctoral student in the NeuRAL Lab and advised by Rachel Hawe, PhD, was selected to be the recipient of the 2026 CATSS Summer Fellowship in Translational Sensory Science. This is a competitive fellowship open to undergraduate and graduate students doing research in sensory science. Sam's research will focus on the role of proprioception for bilateral movements in individuals with chronic stroke and older adults.
