Asante presents at CATSS Fall Symposium

Desmond Asante, doctoral student in the NeuRAL Lab, presented a talk at CATSS 10th Anniversary Symposium.

Desmond Asante, doctoral student in the NeuroRehabilitation Across the Lifespan Laboratory (NeuRAL) in the School of Kinesiology, presented a talk, entitled "Quantitative Assessments of Bimanual Coordination in Chronic Stroke," at the University's Center for Applied and Translational Sensory Science (CATSS) 10th Anniversary Symposium. Asante's talk covered his proposed project to examine the accuracy of computer vision-based human pose estimation for measuring functional bilateral movements. Asante is currently supported by the Interdisciplinary Doctoral Fellowship, with CATSS as his host center and is advised by Rachel Hawe, PhD, assistant professor in the School.
