Antunovic on Winter Paralympics panel

Dr. Dunja Antunovic was a panelist on media coverage of the Winter Paralympics along with a veteran journalist and a Paralympian.

On February 26, Dunja Antunovic, PhD, associate professor of sport sociology in the School of Kinesiology and director of the Media Analysis Research in International Sport (MARIS), was a participant on a Zoom webinar panel sponsored by the Minnesota Journalism Center on the Paralympic Winter Games (March 6-15 in Milano and Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy). The panel, "Covering the Paralympics: A Virtual Conversation," included Team USA Paralympian Staci Mannel, a veteran sports journalist John Affleck (Penn State University), and Antunovic, a sport sociology researcher, discussing best practices for inclusive sports coverage, and what to watch in the Games.
